Applying Personality Insights to Maximize Executive Coaching
Executives rarely receive accurate feedback about their strengths or development needs from peers or direct reports. As a coach, you fulfill this need by serving as a confidential, unbiased sounding board and by providing insight and support to improve leadership skills and job performance.
Our 16PF® Questionnaire and interpretive reports were developed to assist you in this process by eliciting the personality information necessary for that critical first step in every coaching relationship - self-awareness. By identifying both personal strengths and challenges, our 16PF reports help you guide your clients to: 1) Make maximum use of their personal strengths, 2) Adjust behaviors, and 3) Minimize the impact of their personal challenges on job performance.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for Human Resource, Organizational Development, and Training professionals; Coaches; Consultants; Early-career Psychologists; and others who are currently engaged in coaching or are looking to expand their practice into the executive coaching area.

Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be able to:
- Apply IPAT's multi-step model to deliver personality-based coaching feedback
- Identify a variety of coaching challenges and how they can be addressed by the 16PF Questionnaire and Emotional Judgment Inventory
- Use personality feedback in conjunction with other types of assessments (emotional intelligence, 360° feedback, etc.) to generate a complete picture of the coaching client
- Incorporate knowledge of the major personality differentiators of successful leaders in your coaching efforts
- Raise awareness of personality "blind spots" and use coaching strategies to head off executive derailment with your clients
