A Proven Workshop Format
The workshop is a combination of presentations, exercises, and group work. We keep the class size small so IPAT instructors can give every attendee personal attention.
During the 2 workshop days, you will have opportunities to interpret reports for selection and development applications, and participate in breakout sessions where you can practice giving assessment feedback.
Learning Objectives
This certification workshop will give you the knowledge – and confidence – to properly use the 16PF scores and narrative to inform your selection decisions as well as your employee development plans. Specifically, upon completion of the training you will:
- Understand and interpret the scales of the 16PF Questionnaire
- Interpret 16PF profiles for different human resource applications (e.g., selection, development, coaching)
- Deliver 16PF profile feedback in an accurate, thorough, and professional manner
- Recognize how assessment information can be used to help your organization
- Learn when it is appropriate to use assessments
- Have a working knowledge of the professional standards, ethical issues, and legal guidelines associated with the use of testing in the workplace
- Understand basic statistical concepts related to psychological testing to enable you to interpret test scores
- Appreciate the importance of norms and their role in the interpretation of test scores
- Evaluate the credibility of a test based upon its psychometric properties so that you can make educated decisions as to which tests to use
- Feel confident in your ability to understand and apply personality insights gained through the 16PF Questionnaire.

 This two-day workshop provides 12 CE credit hours recognized by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).
IPAT is also approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. In addition, we are an approved sponsor of continuing education by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The National Career Development Association (NCDA) also recognizes and accepts these NBCC-approved CE credits. IPAT maintains responsibility for this program and all content.
