McHenry to Participate in Panel Discussion on International Validation Research

December, 2009

In preparation for their annual conference, the Program Committee for the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology reviews thousands of presentation proposals. Every submission is reviewed by at least three members of the committee and only the highest quality proposals are accepted.

We are happy to report that a panel discussion titled Conducting International Validation Research: Overcoming Logistic, Legal, and Cultural Challenges has been accepted and that OPP President Robert McHenry will join representatives from three other test publishers on this panel.

Title: Conducting International Validation Research: Overcoming Logistic, Legal, and Cultural Challenges
Type of Submission: Panel Discussion
Time Allotted for Session: 80 Minute Session
Abstract: Many global test publishers accumulate evidence of their assessments' ability to predict job performance in the source country, but such evidence in other countries is often sparse. In this session, panelists representing four major global test publishers will share their experiences when conducting client-based research in foreign countries.

The 2010 SIOP Conference will be held from April 8-10 at the Atlanta Hilton. For additional conference information, please visit the SIOP website.
