Hilson Safety/Security Risk Inventory
This assessment identifies individuals who may be prone to risk-taking and/or unsafe behavior patterns as well as those who tend to react impulsively in crisis or emergency situations. The Hilson Safety/Security Risk Inventory was developed for use in assessing individuals who will be working in positions where personal and/or mechanical safety practices are required.
The HSRI is used for pre-offer screening in many states. However, in certain states, counties, and municipalities, this test may need to be administered as a conditional offer assessment. Please check the legal requirements in your area for confirmation.

- Defensive Responses - a validity scale
- Safety Risk (Safety Attitudes; Driving Behaviors; Safety Behaviors; and Risk-Taking)
- Lack of Hostility Control (Lack of Integrity Concerns; Lack of Anger Control; and Work Problems)
- Preparation Concerns (Lack of Work Ethic Concerns; Undue Worry; and Lack of Social Judgment)
